Sweden is refusing to share the preliminary outcomes of its official investigation into the Nord Stream pipeline explosions with Russia, asserting that the knowledge is “confidential.”
Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson stated that the result of the inquiry into what severely broken the Nord Stream 1 and a couple of fuel pipelines in late September wouldn’t be revealed to Moscow.
“In Sweden, our preliminary investigations are confidential, and that, after all, additionally applies on this case,” Andersson advised reporters.
The investigation discovered that the blasts had been an act of sabotage, though the perpetrator has not been named.
The Swedish chief stated that Russia was free to conduct its personal investigation into the incident, including that Sweden had eliminated cordons from the world.
“The Swedish financial zone will not be a territory that Sweden disposes of,” stated Andersson.
President Vladimir Putin, who has accused the US and Britain of finishing up an “act of worldwide terrorism” in concentrating on the pipelines, reacted to Sweden’s denial of entry to the investigation by insisting, “Everyone knows nicely who the last word beneficiary of this crime is.”
