A parking storage at London’s Luton Airport was engulfed in flames on Wednesday after a car caught hearth inside, resulting in a “vital structural collapse” of the storage.
Luton, which is positioned round 25 miles north of central London, skilled dozens of flight cancelations and delays following the incident.
In accordance with Flight Conscious, 50 flights (about 23% of the overall) had been delayed leaving Luton, and one other 42 (19%) had been canceled on Wednesday.

The Bedfordshire Fireplace and Rescue Service declared the hearth a “main incident” and confirmed that the fireplace came about in Terminal Automobile on the second ground of the parking storage.
