Google advertisers can now promote on podcasts.

Yep, introduced immediately, “advertisers can now align their advertisements with podcast content material globally. Merely create an audio or video marketing campaign and choose “Podcast” as a placement.”

Why we care. Final month we reported on three new audio, buying, and streaming options out there to YouTube advertisers. At the moment advertisers can formally choose “podcast” as their most popular placement.
