Threads is within the EU now…
Meta launched Threads, their Twitter competitor, again in July. There was criticism on the time that it was launched whereas lacking some very fundamental options. Perhaps extra importantly, it wasn’t obtainable for customers within the European Union as a consequence of some privateness points.
Nicely, that has now been corrected. Since its launch, Threads has added a desktop model, search, matters (which work like hashtags), GIFS, pinned posts, polls, audio messages, and doubtless another options that I’m forgetting.
Most significantly, customers within the EU now have entry.
Rumors are we might quickly see trending matters, presumably DMs (although it’s refreshing with out them), and finally an API.
If you happen to haven’t jumped into Threads since you thought nobody was there or it was too fundamental, take one other look. As a marketer, there’s at all times a bonus to leaping in as an early adopter.
